dsm-firmenich is offering a 6-month Strategy internship in Neuilly-sur-Seine with a hybrid work mode. You will contribute to strategic projects for Perfumery & Beauty, helping assess growth opportunities and prepare materials for senior stakeholders.

You will develop analytical and presentation skills in an international, cross-functional setting, while leveraging digital tools and AI to enhance research and knowledge synthesis.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in business, finance, strategy, engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex questions and translate analysis into clear recommendations.
• Sound business and financial acumen, with a genuine interest in industries, companies and growth strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and a strong command of Excel.
• High level of autonomy, curiosity, and initiative.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work autonomously in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Previous experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, transaction services, private equity, corporate strategy or corporate development would be a strong advantage.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Support strategic projects addressing the division’s growth priorities, portfolio development and competitive positioning.
• Contribute to the assessment of selected growth opportunities, including market attractiveness, strategic fit and business performance.
• Develop high-quality presentations, analyses and decision materials for senior stakeholders.
• Assist in project management and follow-up of cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to tracking KPIs, performance dashboards, and project progress.
• Conduct market and competitive research to generate actionable insights for the division.
• Collaborate with teams across regions and functions to support strategic priorities.
• Leverage digital and AI tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of research, analysis and knowledge synthesis.
