Safran Systèmes d’Atterrissage in Massy is seeking a seasoned project leader to drive a major aeronautical computer development for civil aircraft engine control systems. You will head a ~30-strong multidisciplinary team—systems, electronics, software, mechanics, cybersecurity, Safety, industrialization, testing—and oversee a budget over €20 million to meet quality, schedule, and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Higher education background (engineer or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge in electronics (digital and analog), software and embedded products.
• Experience with challenging environments (aeronautics, automotive, rail, or space).

Responsabilités

• Manage a major project for the development of new-generation aeronautical computers for the civil aircraft engine control system.
• Lead a project team of ~30 people across multiple disciplines; coordinate objectives, schedule and costs.
• Directly manage the project budget with volumes exceeding €20 million, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Interact with the Program Directorate and international clients; serve as primary liaison for partners throughout the project.
• Benefit from mentoring and project management training within the Safran community and progress toward management roles.
