Job summary

Tylko is opening its first physical store in France, right in Paris. As Store Manager, you will lead the launch, recruit and coach the initial team, and set the tone for daily operations, customer experience, and brand storytelling.

You’ll adapt our Berlin-based retail model to the French market, optimize foot traffic, conversion, and KPI-driven performance, and collaborate with our e-commerce team to connect online and in-store experiences for French customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail management, including leading a team.
• Hands-on leader who motivates by example and coaches the team to grow.
• Excellent communication in French and English — approachable and able to build trust with customers.
• Strong understanding of the French retail market and customer expectations.
• Results-driven with KPIs and performance data.
• Experience with retail tech (POS, CRM, scheduling tools) and curiosity about using AI to work smarter.
• Able to work with established processes while adapting locally.
• Passion for design and creating inspiring customer experiences.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store opening and set up daily operations using our Berlin framework.
• Recruit, onboard and inspire a team of Design Advisors from day one.
• Adapt our retail model to the French market, aligning with local regulations and customer expectations.
• Own the store’s performance: foot traffic, conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Manage day-to-day operations: scheduling, stock and store budget.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience blending design advice, service and brand storytelling.
• Build Tylko’s local presence in Paris through events, collaborations and partnerships.
• Ensure the store reflects brand standards in merchandising and atmosphere.
• Collaborate with our e-commerce team to connect online and in-store experiences for French customers.
• Share local market insights with HQ to shape growth in France.
