Scaleway is expanding its Storage team in France to design, automate, and scale a distributed object storage platform. The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across Beekeeper integration and Storage SRE to support a large data footprint.

You will join a team of engineers responsible for expanding regions and service classes, improving stability, and delivering robust storage solutions in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating large-scale Linux infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of high-load, distributed infrastructure.
• Solid experience with Linux system administration and networking.
• Hands-on with Ansible, GitLab CI/CD and scripting.
• Good knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy and operate features for Scaleway's Object Storage platform.
• Contribute to opening new Availability Zones and Regions.
• Improve performance, scalability and reliability of storage infra.
• Ensure operational excellence through maintenance and on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Data Center teams on hardware operations.
• Automate deployment with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Contribute to technical docs and onboarding materials.
