The OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is seeking an experienced Statistician to contribute to CRS data on official and private development finance. You will enhance data presentation, manage datasets, and conduct analyses to support policy guidance and the SDGs.

The role is within the Financing for Sustainable Development Division, with collaboration across DCD and other teams. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, data visualization, and publication-ready documentation

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, data science, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a national or multilateral institution working on large datasets, ideally on development finance.
• Good understanding of development finance and the principles underlying recording of international financial flows.
• Experience drafting documents based on quantitative data analysis and strong data validation skills.
• Ability to prepare material for publication with attention to detail and tailored messaging.

Responsabilités

• Policy analysis and advice: drafting documents, presentations, reports and web content with statistical data.
• Data management: develop data frameworks, automate processes, ensure data quality and public accessibility.
• Produce and maintain development finance datasets and visuals (graphs, tables, maps, dashboards).
• Meeting support: organize meetings, prepare briefing materials, support communications.
