TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation is offering a 6-month HSE internship in France. The role focuses on risk prevention, KPI reporting, and deployment of field HSE tools in an international, multicultural environment.

You will analyze anomalies, monitor actions from audits and incidents, and support field teams under a mentor, building practical experience in HSE programs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Engineering School specializing in HSE, 6-month final-year internship starting October 2026.
• Knowledge of HSE data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience with action plan management and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Excel; Power BI proficiency.
• Strong written French and collaboration skills.

The GRP (Gas, Renewables & Power) branch brings together TotalEnergies’ activities in gas, electricity, and renewable energies. It carries the Company’s ambition in low‑carbon businesses as well as in energy‑efficiency activities.
Within TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation, a major player in decentralized solar solutions (rooftop photovoltaic systems, solar carports, ground‑mounted plants), the HSE intern will join an international team operating in a dynamic, operational, and multicultural environment. The scope covers both development and operational projects, with strong interaction between HSE teams, operational teams, and external partners.
This internship is anchored in field activities, with a strong focus on risk prevention, monitoring of HSE observations, and deployment of operational tools aimed at strengthening the safety culture and ensuring compliance with the Group’s HSE requirements.
The purpose of this internship is to contribute to the identification, analysis, and prevention of HSE risks on TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation projects. It also aims to support the continuous improvement of field observation monitoring—whether anomalies or good practices—and to assist in the deployment and appropriation of HSE requirements through simple, concrete, and operational tools adapted to field realities.

Activities

As an HSE Performance Intern M/F, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing anomalies, monitoring their follow-up, and identifying trends;
• Coordinating and ensuring the quality of monthly KPI reporting;
• Monitoring actions resulting from audits, incidents, and safety inspections;
• Participating in monthly HSE meetings;
• Ensuring the implementation of HSE procedures on site;
• Deploying HSE programs and updating related documentation;
• Contributing to the assessment of EPC contractors' qualifications.

You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals and be supported by a mentor-coach, who will serve as your guide in developing your future profession. A personalized support program will help you gain autonomy and successfully achieve your degree objectives.

Candidate Profile

Are you currently enrolled in an Engineering School specializing in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and looking for a 6-month final-year internship starting in October 2026?

With prior experience in HSE, do you have knowledge of HSE data analysis and interpretation, as well as action plan management, continuous improvement, field anomaly monitoring, and implementation of HSE requirements?

Are you comfortable using office software and familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite? In particular, you will use Excel to monitor reports and KPI indicators. Do you have proficiency in Power BI?

Are autonomy, rigor, and teamwork among your key strengths? Are you able to take initiative?

Strong written communication skills and a professional level of Frenchwill be essential for success in this position.

This offer is for a full-time, contractual internship; alternating internships are not possible.
