Job summary

Electra in Paris is seeking a Staff Engineer Mobile to set the technical direction for our mobile stack across iOS and Android and to guide the shared platform used by multiple product squads such as Charge XP, Pro, and Navigation. You will craft a multi-quarter roadmap, ensure maintainability, and extend the platform to CarPlay/Android Auto.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI-assisted engineering, and raise the bar on engineering standards while collaborating with backend, product, and design

Qualifications

• Significant experience as Staff/Principal/Lead Mobile engineer with impact beyond features.
• Led platform-level improvements across architecture, reliability and tooling.
• Able to justify adoption with measurable results.
• Strong hands-on iOS and Android development experience; Kotlin Multiplatform a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the mobile technical direction across iOS/Android, balancing native vs shared code.
• Build and deliver a multi-quarter mobile roadmap with engineering leadership and squads.
• Extend platform to in-car experiences (CarPlay, Android Auto) while ensuring maintainability.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering and mentor engineers across squads.
