Cohere is a security-first enterprise AI company building foundation models and products to solve real-world business problems. You will help train models, ship to production, and bridge research with production in a highly capable compute environment.

The role offers remote-friendly work with offices in major cities; you will collaborate with top researchers and engineers across distributed teams and tooling, contributing production-grade code and scalable training pipelines.

Formación

• Strong software engineering skills.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (JAX, PyTorch, XLA/MLIR).
• Experience with distributed training infrastructures (Kubernetes, Slurm) and Ray.
• Hands-on experience training large models at scale and contributing to tooling.
• Bonus: papers at top-tier venues.

Responsabilidades

• Design and write high-performant and scalable software for training.
• Improve our training setup from an infrastructure and codebase performance standpoint.
• Craft and implement tools to speed up our training cycles.
• Research, implement, and experiment with ideas on our supercompute and data infrastructure.
• Learn from and work with the best researchers in the field.
