Job Summary

Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability.
  • Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to manage/resolve long‑term system performance issues.
  • Ensure system readiness and compliance with design/license basis.
Job Specific Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years related industry experience.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiar with mechanical engineering concepts and operations.
  • Will need to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business.
  • Available for shift work.
  • Must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
  • A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation is required for this position by May 7, 2027.
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
Desired
  • Greater than ten years of experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering.
  • SRO license/certification or System Engineering.
  • MS or PE.
