Ansys, part of Synopsys, seeks an ambitious R&D engineer to push AI-driven geometry processing and advanced meshing across simulation workflows in Île-de-France. You will contribute to cutting-edge AI/ML methods, shape analysis, and robust mesh generation within a highly collaborative team in a production environment.

The role emphasizes research-to-product transition, efficient Python and C++ development, and close work with engineers and researchers to deliver scalable simulation capabilities.

Qualifications

• MSc in Applied Mathematics, Computational Geometry, Engineering, CS, or related field with 3+ years; or PhD with 1+ year experience.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML for 3D geometry processing, computational geometry, or mesh generation.
• Proficiency in Python and exposure to C++, with production-quality software experience.
• Experience with reinforcement learning, geometric deep learning, graph neural networks, or related ML techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to research and implement complex solutions.

Responsabilités

• Researching, designing, and implementing AI/ML‑driven algorithms for 3D geometry processing and mesh generation.
• Developing AI/ML solutions for shape analysis, mesh optimization, and model simplification.
• Exploring learning-based techniques to augment traditional geometry and meshing algorithms.
• Collaborating with the meshing software team to translate research into production‑quality capabilities.
• Writing efficient Python and C/C++ code with performance and scalability focus.
• Analyzing simulation models and discretization workflows for AI/ML automation opportunities.
• Participating in cross‑team discussions, knowledge sharing, and code reviews to advance AI‑driven meshing.
