Vestas in France seeks a skilled service operator to optimize wind farms throughout their life cycle, ensuring maximum turbine capacity and safe operation. You will carry out inspections, support the regional team, and maintain high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1/2, BTEC First Diploma, or high-school diploma with experience in maintenance, electrical engineering, or mechanics.
• Good command of technical English (written and spoken) and familiarity with Office Suite.
• Autonomous, results-oriented, with good communication and team spirit.

Overview

Your mission will be to optimize our client’s wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications, alongside electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work.
• Support and establish constructive, professional relationships with customers and the regional team members (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) at Vestas sites.
• Work to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring that service targets are met.
• Report to the Area Supervisor and operate in a paired-work setup to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Youth Training (NVQ Level 1, 2), BTEC First Diploma or High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics) desired.
• Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiarity with the Office Suite.
• Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit.
• Mobility required (travel expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height.
