Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the bare-metal trading platform. You will own system design, deployment, configuration and daily operation of the physical infrastructure, trading application environment, and observability stack in a production setting.

You will interface with traders, researchers and developers, solve complex production issues pragmatically, and help ensure reliable, scalable systems across Linux-based hardware and software components.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and deep understanding of computer-science fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems.
• Proven track record delivering scalable systems in production environments.
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own system design, deployment, configuration and daily operation of physical infrastructure, trading application environment and observability stack.
• Interface with traders, researchers, application developers and other internal teams, as well as external service providers.
• Solve complex issues in a production environment, applying pragmatic fixes that become engineered solutions.
