Hillenbrand seeks a Sr. Global Category Manager to own category strategy, targets and program development across the global spend and supply base.
You will drive category playbooks, supplier targets and sourcing footprints for multiple OPCOs and sites, leveraging market trends and demand requirements to create value. You will lead cross-functional teams, apply advanced negotiation concepts at scale, and develop strong business cases.
The Sr. Global Category Manager is owning the category-related targets, strategy and program development related to the entire global spend/supply base in scope which includes Leveraging pooling opportunities and synergies across all Hillenbrand Opcos and Sites Modeling of optimum supply base toward market trends, demand requirements and business objectives Defining Supply Base preferences, sourcing governance (Category playbook) and Supplier targets Maximizing supply base agility and competition through the Supply Market Making and Alternative Sourcing Programs Define Supply base and sourcing footprint design for the related category across all Hillenbrand OPCOs in scope Driving the development and execution of category related funnel measures to achieve the defined targets The goals are to be achieved with financially and ethically sound methods, with an emphasis on the principles of the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM).
