Redwire Space is seeking a capable Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain end-to-end software powering its simulation and mission-system platforms. The role spans frontend, backend, and systems integration, delivering scalable interfaces, data pipelines, and real-time services for aerospace applications.

You will work with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Python/C++/Rust on the backend, partnering with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps to ensure performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 1–5 years of full‑stack production experience.
• Experience with React and modern frontend practices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and concurrency.
• Ability to design scalable, secure APIs and services.

Responsabilités

• Design and build full-stack software capabilities for simulation and mission-system workflows.
• Develop frontend UIs using TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
• Implement backend services in Python, C++, or Rust for APIs and real-time pipelines.
• Integrate with distributed systems including simulation engines and data pipelines.
• Design and maintain REST, GraphQL, and gRPC interfaces with strong governance.
• Build real-time processing pipelines with deterministic, multi-threaded execution.
• Develop visualization tools for physics-based simulations and system behavior.
• Ensure reliability via logging, metrics, tracing, and automated tests.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams.
• Support CI/CD and code reviews across the development lifecycle.
