SpaceLocker in Toulouse invites a Head of Engineering to structure and lead the entire technical team — hardware, embedded software, and production. You will be the internal technical authority, bridging R&D and industrialization, and driving team dynamics.

You will guide architecture choices, manage a cross-functional group, scale production, and own the engineering product roadmap in collaboration with the CTO.

Qualifications

• About 10 years in space or avionics with broad technical view.
• Experience leading a technical team in space/aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of space hardware, embedded software, and AIT.
• Fluent English; basic French is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team (hardware, electronics, embedded software, mechanics).
• Act as the team’s technical reference for architecture, materials, components and processes.
• Drive the scale-up of SpaceLocker’s production and industrialization capabilities.
• Ensure and maintain the team’s rigor across specification, design and AIV activities.
• Own the engineering product roadmap in close collaboration with the CTO.
• Structure product line management with an end-to-end system vision.
• Take part in HR reviews, performance assessments and technical recruiting within the engineering team.
• Help unblock critical technical issues to maintain execution speed and momentum.
