Aerospacelab in Toulouse seeks a Product Assurance / Software Quality Assurance engineer to define, implement, and monitor SW PA activities across satellite projects. You will write and maintain the SW PA Plan, review development and testing plans, and ensure compliance with space-grade standards.

You will have a MSc in a relevant field, 3+ years in SW QA/V&V, deep SDLC knowledge, and experience with static analysis tools (MISRA/Polyspace/Coverity).

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Assurance, Software Quality Assurance, or Software V&V engineer.
• Good understanding of the SDLC and ability to assess compliance at each stage.
• Experience tracking anomalies, NCRs, RFDs, and RFWs and driving actions to closure.
• Familiarity with SW PA tools: static analysis (MISRA, Polyspace, Coverity), unit test frameworks, code coverage.
• Eye for detail and high-quality standards; structured, organised, multitask.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Good interpersonal, communication, coordination; cross-team work.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Define, implement, and monitor SW PA activities across satellite projects.
• Write and maintain the SW PA Plan for each project; tailor to mission requirements and standards.
• Review SW development and testing plans to ensure defined quality activities are followed.
• Identify and manage software critical items, COTS components, and reuse; support criticality analyses.
• Perform SDLC process auditing, metrics monitoring, and compliance checks.
• Track, manage, and close software-related anomalies and NCRs throughout lifecycles.
• Extend SW PA oversight to subcontractors and monitor compliance.
• Contribute to SW PA guideline development and templates.
