Morgan McKinley is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Space and Defence FSO Systems in the Greater Paris region, on-site CDI position. You will design boards for high-speed data chains and precision readout electronics, covering architecture, schematics, layout, bring-up, and debugging.

Responsibilities span analog and driver circuits, digital/telecom interfaces, power management, EMC, and radiation-aware component selection to ensure reliability in space environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing a board from schematic to working hardware and able to explain operation and debugging.
• Proficiency with PCB toolchains (Altium, Cadence, KiCad) and lab test equipment.
• Professional English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Board Design: End-to-end architecture, schematics, layout supervision, bench bring-up, and system characterization.
• Analogue & Drivers: High-voltage motor actuator drive chains, low-noise amplification, and detector front-ends.
• Digital & Telecom: Fast serial interfaces, optical modules, clock distribution, and microcontrollers/FPGAs/DSPs.
• Power & EMC: DC-DC converters, power distribution, grounding/zoning, and EMC pre-compliance.
• Space & Manufacturing: Radiation/derating-aware component selection, harness definition, PCB supplier follow-up.
