GTS Space is partnering with a client in France to recruit an Electrical Architect for satellite programmes. You will own the electrical architecture across concept to qualification, defining the power system design, harnesses and interface controls.

You'll collaborate with AIT, systems and mechanical teams to ensure compliance with performance and reliability requirements, while engaging with suppliers for component selection and qualification. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in electrical architecture design for spacecraft or satellite platforms.
• Knowledge of power systems (EPS), harness design and electrical interfaces.
• Familiarity with space qualification standards (ECSS or equivalent).
• Experience across full development lifecycle from concept to AIT.

Responsabilités

• Defining and owning the electrical architecture for satellite platforms, covering power generation, distribution, storage and regulation.
• Producing and maintaining electrical block diagrams, ICDs and harness specifications.
• Leading trade-off studies on EPS topology, battery sizing and power budget.
• Supporting AIT and test campaigns, including troubleshooting electrical issues at subsystem and system level.
• Working with suppliers on electrical component selection and qualification.
• Interfacing with systems engineering to ensure electrical requirements are captured and verified throughout the programme lifecycle.

Electrical Architect – Satellites

Location: France

This is an opportunity to take ownership of electrical architecture on spacecraft programmes, from concept through to qualification and delivery. You'll define the electrical power system design, harness architecture and interface control documentation, working closely with AIT, systems and mechanical teams to ensure the satellite platform meets performance and reliability requirements.
