About the Role

Operate Talent is seeking a freelance sourcing agent with deep expertise in computer hardware, peripherals, and IT equipment.

The ideal candidate has an established supplier network in China’s major manufacturing hubs, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Yiwu, and Dongguan, and proven experience in supplier identification, negotiation, and logistics coordination.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing the full sourcing process, from finding the right manufacturers to ensuring smooth shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Sourcing : Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and manufacturers for computer and IT products (laptops, components, accessories, cables, peripherals, etc.).
• Supplier Verification : Conduct due diligence to assess supplier credibility, production capacity, and compliance with quality standards.
• Price Negotiation : Secure competitive pricing and terms aligned with business objectives.
• Sample Management : Coordinate sample requests, oversee quality inspections, and manage logistics.
• Quality Control : Support or liaise with inspection teams to ensure product quality consistency.
• Logistics Coordination : Assist in export documentation, freight quotations, and shipment follow-ups.
• Reporting : Prepare detailed sourcing reports, cost comparisons, and supplier performance summaries.
• Communication : Serve as the key liaison between suppliers and the project team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product sourcing or procurement within the computer or electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of Chinese manufacturing processes and export regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects independently.Familiarity with quality control and logistics coordination processes.
• Reliable, organized, and results-driven professional attitude.
