Job summary

Four Seasons Megève recherche un Sommelier pour assister l’Assistant Head Sommelier et garantir un service de haute qualité selon nos standards d’exception.

Le candidat doit démontrer un bon esprit d’équipe, une présentation soignée et d’excellentes compétences relationnelles pour servir une clientèle exigeante dans un cadre alpin haut de gamme.

Qualifications

• Doit être qualifié et expérimenté dans le service.
• Première expérience dans un poste similaire appréciée.
• Être capable de travailler en France et parler couramment le français et l’anglais.

Responsibilities

• Fournir un service agréable, efficace et professionnel selon les standards Four Seasons.
• Gérer le service des vins et veiller à la satisfaction des clients.
• Connaître le menu et les suggestions du Chef.
• Organiser la logistique du stockage et la tenue des registres du caveau.

About The Role

The Sommelier's role is to assist the Assistant Head Sommelier during service. The goal is to provide quality service to our customers in compliance with Four Seasons standards. The Sommelier must be qualified and experienced in service, demonstrate a very good team spirit, have excellent presentation and good interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high-end clientele.

What You Will Do

• Provide customers with a pleasant, efficient, and professional service in accordance with Four Seasons standards.


• Monitor the smooth running of the services (wine service, customer satisfaction, responsiveness to special customer requests). Be able to work in symbiosis with his service colleagues.


• Know the Menu and each menu according to the Chef's suggestions.


• Organize the logistics of storage in the cellar, the management, and updating of cellar books and wine lists.

The list of tasks specified above is not exhaustive, as your role will require constant adaptation to situations of high activity and specific customer relationship management.

What We Are Looking For

• First experience in a similar position would be appreciated.


• You must possess the legal right to work in France at the time of application and have fluency in French and English.
