Four Seasons Megève seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring top-quality guest comfort and seamless department operations. You will supervise daily activities, manage schedules, and uphold Four Seasons standards across all areas.

You will oversee recruitment, training, and performance development, collaborating with other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations. Fluency in French and English is required, with a legal right to work in France.

• Lead daily briefings with Room Attendants, Housemen, and Floor Supervisors.
• Organize the day’s operations according to priorities.

• Manage follow-up and resolution of guest complaints.
• Oversee staff scheduling and adherence to Labour Standards.
• Inspect rooms during deep cleaning and monitor areas.
• Oversee department administrative functions (budgets, payroll).
• Conduct recruitment interviews using Behaviour-Based Interviewing.
• Coach and train staff to improve performance.

About The Role

The aim of the Housekeeping Manager is to maintain the customer and back office areas in keeping with service quality, and to ensure customer comfort. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team, and for ensuring that all department procedures are properly applied. He/she supervises the various projects and their smooth running with the Executive Assistants and ensures that each member of her/his team has the training required to carry out her/his work under optimum conditions. He/she works with his/her Department Manager as well as with all hotel departments and management. He/she must carry out his/her work in accordance with our company's standards, paying attention to guests' needs and striving to exceed their expectations. The General Housekeeper must be qualified and experienced in organization and service, demonstrate very good team spirit, have excellent presentation and good interpersonal skills to lead and supervise his/her team.

What You Will Do

• Lead the various daily briefings with Room Attendants, Housemen, and Floor Supervisors.
• Organize the day's operations according to priorities (guest profiles, scheduling of technical interventions, etc.).
• Ensure the proper execution of work by the team.
• Manage the follow-up and resolution of guest complaints.
• Ensure effective follow-up by Floor Supervisors regarding both furnishings/equipment and technical maintenance interventions.
• Inspect and monitor rooms undergoing deep cleaning.
• Monitor the cleanliness and condition of storage areas, pantries, corridors, and the hotel's public and common areas.
• Oversee staff scheduling and Labour Standards in line with hotel activity levels.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department's administrative functions (budgets, payroll management, etc.).
• Conduct recruitment interviews in accordance with Four Seasons quality standards and apply the Behaviour-Based Interviewing methodology.
• Support team development through personalized coaching and by recommending training initiatives aimed at improving individual performance.

The list of tasks specified above is not exhaustive, as your role will require constant adaptation to situations of high activity and specific customer relationship management.
