TotalEnergies Integrated Power Modelling (IPM) is seeking a Solar Resource & Yield Engineer to design and develop numerical models for solar resource projection and analysis of meteorological data across the energy value chain.

You will lead the Solar Resource & Yield team activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners, and contribute to technology roadmaps and deployment of cutting-edge models.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of professional experience.
• Solid understanding of data analysis, modeling techniques and handling large meteorological data sets.
• Machine learning expertise or experience applying ML to physical models is a strong plus.
• Able to provide technical guidance and mentorship across the team.
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance with real influence.

Responsabilités

• Lead the activity on solar resource assessment, participating in the technological roadmap and guiding the team's efforts.
• Drive solar resource assessment tasks for modeling support requests from business units and partners.
• Contribute hands-on to numerical model development to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Stay at the forefront of innovation by reviewing scientific literature and attending conferences.
• Represent TotalEnergies in international collaborations, including with external partners.
• Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to ensure models meet needs.
• Use advanced tools, including statistical modeling and ML, to deliver robust solutions.
