Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Solar O&M Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspections, and system recommissioning for residential and commercial solar power systems. The role involves customer interaction, field service on-site visits, and thorough documentation of each service call.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years in solar installation or service, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to travel to various job sites.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational electrical/renewable energy training is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in solar installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair; strong electrical experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Solar Maintenance & Inspections: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and evaluations to maintain performance.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve solar system issues including inverter faults and wiring problems.
• System Removal & Reinstallation: Assist with or perform removal/reinstallation for roofing, repairs, upgrades.
• Testing & Recommissioning: Conduct electrical testing and recommissioning after repairs or replacements.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service and communicate system conditions to customers.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed visit records with photos, test results, and serial numbers.
• Manufacturer Support & RMA: Assist with troubleshooting, warranty claims, and RMA processes.
