MathWorks is hiring in the Paris area for a test-focused C/C++ engineer. The role emphasizes designing and implementing new test strategies, scalable frameworks, and automated suites to improve Polyspace product quality. Hybrid work model in Issey-Les-Moulineaux with strong French/English language requirements and French work authorization.

You will influence specifications, design for testability, and drive testing from start to finish within a development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience required.
• Strong C/C++ programming experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Ability to lead cross-team projects.
• Experience mentoring team members.
• Scripting capability (TypeScript, Perl, Python, Go, etc.).

This position is located in our Issey-Les-Moulineaux (Paris area), France office and requires French Work Authorization and fluent French and English language skills. Applicants who do not posses French work authorization, do not have fluent French language skills, or that are located outside of central Europe will not be considered.

Responsibilities

You will be an integral member of the development team from start to finish by influencing specifications and contributing to software design and testability thereby ensuring high quality software.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring testability of features, engaging with developers throughout the design phase
• Developing test strategies, infrastructure,and automation
• Measuring code efficiency (execution profiling) and effectiveness (Coverage, Code completeness…)

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with object oriented design
• A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

• Ability or ambition to lead cross-team collaborative projects.
• Experience with C/C++ programming language
• Fluent French and English language skills
• Ability to mentor team members
• Scripting capability (TypeScript, Perl, Python, Go, etc.)
