Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Software Engineering Intern - Fullstack in Niort, France, for a 6-month program. You will join a feature team, building scalable healthcare tools and collaborating with engineers, PMs, and designers to deliver tangible patient care improvements.

The stack includes Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, and React Native, with AI-assisted coding tools as part of the workflow. You should be in your final year of a relevant degree, fluent in English, and excited to

You will work in a feature team developing solutions that directly impact healthcare professionals and patients across Europe, contributing to our Operating System powered by AI to manage all clinical and administrative activities. Working in the tech team at Doctolib means building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Build and own features alongside experienced engineers — from design and development to testing and shipping — with a direct impact on real usersCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare toolsWrite clean, efficient code following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer reviewSolve real-world problems that directly enhance patient care and improve doctor-patient relationshipsExplore new tools and technologies, including AI and distributed systems, as part of your continuous growthContribute to a culture of learning and collaboration by sharing knowledge and engaging actively with your team.

Who you are

• You love problem-solving and are driven by curiosity — you're not afraid to dive into complex issues and find creative solutions
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge, and learning from your peers
• You have a passion for technology and product development, and always keep the user experience in mind
• You are comfortable coding, with the help of AI agents like Claude Code, in multiple languages and eager to learn our tech stack
• You are in your final year of a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and looking for a 6-month full-time internship
• Eager to learn and work in a team of builders
• You are fluent in English
• It would be fantastic if you:
• Have experience with web development or building products in a fast-paced environment
• Have worked on side projects or contributed to open-source communities
• Are familiar with AI-assisted coding tools and eager to integrate them into your daily workflow
