Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join the Fullstack team in Paris/Levallois. You will build features with engineers, contribute to an AI-powered operating system to support clinicians and patients across Europe, and gain hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle.

This 6-month internship offers hybrid work up to 2 remote days, exposure to TypeScript, Rails, Java, Python, Kotlin and React Native, plus training, AI tooling, and a structured onboarding program.

Qualifications

• Final year in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with web development and collaborating in teams.
• Interest in AI-assisted coding tools and modern stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and own features from design to shipping with real users.

Software Engineering Intern - Fullstack (x/f/m)

Set a new pulse for healthcare! We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join the Engineering team. Your mission will be to build innovative products and features that improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. You will work in a feature team developing solutions that directly impact healthcare professionals and patients across Europe, contributing to our Operating System powered by AI to manage all clinical and administrative activities. Working in the tech team at Doctolib means building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build and own features alongside experienced engineers — from design and development to testing and shipping — with a direct impact on real users
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare tools
• Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer review
• Solve real-world problems that directly enhance patient care and improve doctor-patient relationships
• Explore new tools and technologies, including AI and distributed systems, as part of your continuous growth
• Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration by sharing knowledge and engaging actively with your team

Who you are

• You love problem-solving and are driven by curiosity — you're not afraid to dive into complex issues and find creative solutions
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge, and learning from your peers
• You have a passion for technology and product development, and always keep the user experience in mind
• You are comfortable coding, with the help of AI agents like Claude Code, in multiple languages and eager to learn our tech stack
• You are in your final year of a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and looking for a 6-month full-time internship
• Eager to learn and work in a team of builders
• You are fluent in English

It would be fantastic if you:

• Have experience with web development or building products in a fast-paced environment
• Have worked on side projects or contributed to open-source communities
• Are familiar with AI-assisted coding tools and eager to integrate them into your daily workflow.
