Job summary

Ooak Data recherche un Software Engineer et membre fondateur de l'équipe technique pour concevoir, construire et faire évoluer une plateforme web et des pipelines de données. Vous rapporterez au CTO et participerez activement à l’architecture et aux choix technologiques.

Le candidat idéal maîtrise TypeScript et Python, avec expérience React/SvelteKit et API/DBs, et souhaite mentor des profils juniors dans un environnement rapide et collaboratif.

Qualifications

• 4+ années d'expérience en génie logiciel.
• Maîtrise TypeScript et Python.
• Expérience avec React, SvelteKit ou équivalent.
• Conception et exploitation d'APIs et PostgreSQL.
• Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement agile et rapide.
• Anglais courant exigé.

Responsibilities

• Concevoir, construire et faire évoluer la plateforme web et les outils internes.
• Développer des services back-end et des APIs pour les pipelines de données et les environnements RL.
• Créer des interfaces front-end propres pour la curation, l’annotation et la surveillance des données.
• Définir les standards techniques et participer aux décisions d’architecture et DevOps.
• Travailler avec les équipes produit et ML pour livrer des features de bout en bout.
• Encadrer et faire grandir les futurs members de l’équipe tech.

Your missions

As a Software Engineer and a founding member of the tech team, you'll play a central role in how we design, build, and scale the platform that powers our datasets and RL environments. You'll report directly to Thomas (CTO & co-founder).

• Design, build, and scale the web platform and internal tooling our team and partners use to ingest, process, and explore data.
• Build robust back-end services and APIs powering our data pipelines and RL environments.
• Craft clean, reactive front-end interfaces for data curation, annotation, and monitoring.
• Define our technical standards and take an active part in the structuring architecture decisions (tech choices, design patterns, scalability, DevOps).
• Work closely with the product and ML teams to scope and ship new features end to end.
• Mentor and grow the future members of the tech team, building a strong software engineering culture at Ooak Data.

Profil recherché

Who we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally full-stack or back-end focused.
• Strong coding experience in TypeScript and Python, with a plus for Rust.
• Solid experience with modern web frameworks (React, SvelteKit, or equivalent) and Node.js.
• Comfortable designing and operating APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and micro-services.
• Proven track record delivering projects in an agile, collaborative environment.
• Genuine desire to mentor and grow more junior profiles over time.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-growing environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong prioritization.
• Fluent English, mandatory (working language with our clients and the labs).
