Voodoo is seeking a Unity-focused developer to craft playable ads by converting existing games into interactive experiences. You will optimize ads for performance, integrate analytics, and build templates for designers, all while collaborating with a compact, diverse team on multiple product scopes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a similar role, strong knowledge of Unity and Cocos Creator, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Proficient in playable ad creation or Unity projects (size optimized for playable)
• Experience creating playable ads in Unity (Luna), Cocos Creator or equivalent
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and web game development
• Proactive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• 3+ years in a similar role
• Deep familiarity with the mobile gaming market, especially hyper-casual/casual
• Creative mindset and game design knowledge
• Familiarity with 3rd party SDKs, analytics, and A/B testing in mobile games (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and asset generation tools

The core mission of the Playable Ads team is to create engaging and interactive advertising experiences that captivate audiences and drive conversions. We work with playable developers and coordinators that turn a game into an HTML interactive ad experience. Your main mission will be to produce high-performing ads by creating and uploading them to our various ad networks.

Role

We are looking for talented individuals interested in creating playable ads that let users try our games! To succeed in this role, you need extensive Unity development experience with a past of creating unique user experiences for a global audience. You will be converting existing games into playable ads and collaborating on the creation of tools for other interactive ad formats.

• Build interactive playable templates that can be customized by graphic designers

• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives (e.g. testing new tools, implementing new processes, etc.)

• Develop a deep understanding of how your creations perform and why

• Work within a small creative squad with amazing people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities

• Have the opportunity to cover different product scopes (e.g., hypercasual, casual, consumer apps, etc.)

• Become a creative expert in mobile gaming: benchmark what our competitors are doing, experiment with new ideas

Profile

• Fully proficient in playable ad creation or in developing Unity projects (size optimized to be used as playable)

• Experience creating playable ads in Unity (Luna), Cocos Creator or any relevant platform

• Adequate knowledge of object-oriented programming and web game development

• Proactive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

• Fluent in English, both oral and written

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Deeply familiar with the mobile gaming market, in particular, hyper casual and casual games

• Creative mindset and knowledge in game design

• Familiarity with 3rd party SDKs, analytics, and A/B testing in mobile games (preferred but not essential)

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and asset generation (Scenario, Flux, ElevenLabs)
