With a technical stack including Java, Spring Boot, and AI tools, candidates should have at least 5 years' experience and be fluent in French. The position allows for up to 1 day of remote work per week.

Software Engineer Java

Permanent contract, based in Paris, with up to 1 day of remote work per week.

As a software engineer in Mirakl Labs product teams, your main mission is to design, develop, and deploy new business features proposed by the Product Manager. You will implement these features across all layers of our applications—from interfaces (UI or REST API) through the business layer to the creation of database schemas and scripts—while ensuring business consistency and technical stability.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship to production through continuous delivery.
• Harness AI‑powered tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to accelerate development.
• Participate in design sessions with a team of developers, the Product Manager, and UX/UI designers.
• Shape technical decisions that drive product growth.
• Improve code quality through reviews and pair programming.
• Own and monitor your builds—debug production issues end to end.
• Engage in stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Help define the lab’s next‑quarter roadmap.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development practices.
• Track the real‑world impact of your features: business cycles, adoption, and usage.

Technical Stack

Java 21 (planned migration to 25), Spring Boot, Kafka, React/Redux, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud.
