Job summary

bsport, a Barcelona-based tech company, seeks a final-year engineering or computer science intern for on-site work in Paris. You will contribute to design and development, producing quality back-end and front-end code using Django, Python, React, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Redis.

The role includes onboarding in Barcelona with cost coverage and a team of 25 experts. Eligible candidates are master students from top programs in France, fluent in English (French a plus), with knowledge of JavaScript

• Based in Paris for on-site work.
• Looking for a final year internship from 4 to 6 months with potential switch to full-time.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or Python is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of the solution on functional and technical levels.
• Produce high-quality code for the back office.
• Define and implement new features within the development team.
• Collaborate with Tech, Product, QA and Data teams during training and onboarding.

What your future position looks like:

• You will play a role in the design and development of our solution, on both functionally and technically sides.
• Your toolset will include Django (Python 3.11), React (Js and Native), PostgreSQL15, DynamoDB, Redis and more.
• Producing top-notch code for our back office will be a key responsibility.
• You'll also actively participate in defining and implementing new features within the development team.

You will be based in our office in Paris, and the first month you will be trained in Barcelona (all costs covered by Bsport). You will enjoy working within an internal team of 25 people, consisting of Tech, Product, QA and Data experts, directly surrounded by our Senior Leads and CTO.

Our stack is fully automated with push-to-deploy on both frontend and backend. We use Kubernetes and AWS, and our CI is self-hosted. Our methodology is based on agile principles, with weekly releases to production and staging to iterate, gather feedback, and drive progress.

You will be a good fit to join us if you:

• You are a master student in engineering, computer science or any equivalent degree from a top rated engineering program in France
• You are based in Paris as it's required to be on-site
• You are looking for a final year internship from 4 to 6 months with possibility to switch to full-time
• Have professional proficiency in English (French is a plus)
• Must have working or practical knowledge of JavaScript or Python
