Mirakl is seeking an apprentice for the Mirakl Labs team working on the Mirakl Connect product in Paris, starting January or February 2027. You will collaborate with software engineers, a Product Manager, and a QA Engineer to own features from design to delivery within a modern SaaS platform.

The role requires Java development skills, interest in AI, and a hands-on mindset, with mentorship from Jérôme Valloire, Software Architect, to grow your engineering practices and contribute to end-to-end

Qualifications

• Enrolled in engineering school or university, specializing in web or software development.
• First hands-on development experience via internship, school project, personal project, or prior apprenticeship.
• Good understanding of Java and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot; strong interest in AI technologies.

Responsabilités

• Participate in design sessions with your squad, Product Manager, and UX/UI teams to shape and scope new features.
• Develop, test, and ship code to production through continuous delivery practices.
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming, giving and receiving feedback to grow quickly.
• Monitor and debug production issues, embracing a you build it, you run it mindset.

1. The Team You’ll Join

You’ll be part of one of our Mirakl Labs teams working on the Mirakl Connect product, alongside software engineers, a Product Manager, and a QA Engineer. Our teams own the full end-to-end scope of their products, from design and development to the delivery of high-quality features for Mirakl’s SaaS platform, used by clients around the world.

Starting in January or February 2027 , you’ll join us as an apprentice and be mentored by Jérôme Valloire, Software Architect, who will support your technical growth and help you develop strong software engineering best practices.

2. Your Impact

• Participate in design sessions with your squad, Product Manager, and UX/UI teams to shape and scope new features
• Develop, test, and ship code to production through continuous delivery practices
• Engage in code reviews and pair programming, giving and receiving feedback to grow quickly
• Monitor and debug production issues, embracing a you build it, you run it mindset
• Contribute to agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and the Labs product roadmap

3. What You’ll Bring to the Role

Experience:

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school or university, specializing in web or software development
• A first hands-on experience in development, whether through an internship, school project, personal project, or a previous apprenticeship
• Good understanding of Java and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot is a plus
• A strong interest in AI technologies

Skills:

• Java development and OOP principles
• Interest in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Curiosity for microservices architecture, API design, and cloud environments
• Commitment to software quality practices (testing, clean code, design patterns)
