At the intersection of technology and business the Global Function team partners closely with product finance procurement and operations to revolutionize how Sanofi runs at scale. By leveraging modern software engineering the team builds intelligent systems that automate complex processes unlock efficiency and empower Sanofi to deliver on its purposechasing the miracles of science to improve peoples lives.

Location: Paris France (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver software solutions that accelerate research workflows and enhance enterprise-scale data analysis.
• Ensure the scalability reliability and maintainability of complex systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and strategy within defined projects aligning your work with Sanofis global engineering standards.
• Translate requirements into high-quality performant and secure code.
• Collaborate closely with product managers scientists and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely high-impact delivery.
• Take ownership of technical decisions while valuing the behind-the-scenes work that enables the team to move faster.
• Champion best practices in software engineering testing and documentation.
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices designed for scale and resilience.
• Participate in code reviews mentoring and knowledge sharing to strengthen team expertise.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience (or equivalent knowledge) in software engineering
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript () for backend development.
• Experience with React or similar frameworks for modern frontend applications.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures API design and cloud security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform AWS CDK or similar).
• Exposure to one or more major cloud providers (AWS GCP or Azure).
• Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• A passion for problem-solving innovation and delivering impactful software solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills especially in diverse cross-functional environments.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience is a plus.
