microTECH Global LTD is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to an industry-leading tool for modelling and assembling Systems-on-Chip (SoCs). The role focuses on implementing and refactoring complex C++/Python software, validating HDL-oriented outputs, and enhancing performance in large-scale SoC environments.

You will write unit tests, debug across the stack, and collaborate with validation teams to troubleshoot regressions and optimize usability, scalability, and efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficient in C++ and Python; Java or similar OOP language acceptable.
• Solid SoC/IC hardware knowledge, RTL/FPGA/VHDL experience.
• Familiar with HDL and AXI/APB/AHB protocols.

Description du poste

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work on an industry-leading tool dedicated to the modelling and assembly of Systems-on-Chip (SoCs).

Core Responsibilities:

Implement and refactor complex C++/Python software designs responsible for parsing SoC memory map specifications and generating Hardware Description Language (HDL) code and documentation.

Write unit tests, debug, and troubleshoot software issues across the stack, ranging from C++ code to CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with validation engineers to troubleshoot verification regressions and optimize software for performance, scalability, and usability in large-scale SoC environments.

Requirements:

Strong Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Software Engineer.

Object-Oriented Programming: Proven day-to-day commercial experience with C++, Python, Java, or another object-oriented language.

Hardware / Embedded Knowledge: Solid experience with SoCs or digital ICs, alongside knowledge of RTL, FPGA, and VHDL.

Domain Protocols: Familiarity with Hardware Description Languages (HDL) and an understanding of AXI, APB, or AHB protocols.
