Teads, a leading omnichannel advertising platform, is seeking engineers to build efficient web products used by thousands of users. You will work in a fast‑moving environment with Scala and TypeScript, handling high traffic, large datasets, and millisecond-scale decisions across offices in Israel, Slovenia, and France.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to research, develop, and deploy experiments and features with high impact on revenue.
• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor code in production autonomously and reliably.
• Work with Engineering Manager, Product Manager and teams to frame projects and ensure execution.
• Understand the business to provide relevant solutions to clients.
• Facilitate communication inside and outside of Teads.
• Stay current on new technologies and architectures and propose practical implementations.

Engineering Challenges

• Build efficient and easy-to-use web products used by thousands of users working for the world’s most premium publishers, advertisers, and agencies.
• Work within a rich and diverse tech stack and system architecture to optimize for performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency. We use mostly Scala and TypeScript, among others.
• Operate in a very high-traffic environment (2.2 billion users per month, 100 billion events per day) with low latency and high availability constraints (2 million requests per second, responses in less than 150 milliseconds).
• Manage large datasets with millisecond‑level access time to compute a near real‑time complex auction resolution algorithm (18 million predictions per second).
• Adapt quickly in a fast‑changing environment, continuously collaborating with Product teams and updating cloud infrastructure for new features and products.
• Promote diversity of skill sets and knowledge at the same level of quality.
• Work in an international setting with offices located in Israel, Slovenia, and France.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to research, develop, and deploy experiments, features and enhancements with a high impact on our global revenue.
• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor your code in production autonomously and reliably.
• Work with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager and other teams to frame projects and be accountable for their execution.
• Obtain a good understanding of the business to provide relevant solutions to clients.
• Facilitate communication inside and outside of Teads.
• Stay up to date on new technologies and architectures, and propose ways to implement them into the current software engineering process when they solve problems for Teads.

Qualifications

• Strong programming abilities with a natural emphasis on testing, architecture, performance, maintainability, and overall quality.
• Familiarity with large, high‑throughput, distributed systems and processing large amounts of data.
• Analytical and experimental mindset; you prefer to prove an idea before investing significant effort into development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a diverse global team; you actively listen, facilitate dialogue and share knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple shipped projects in software engineering.
• Production knowledge and best practices (release, observability, troubleshooting, etc.) acquired through multiple shipped applications; strong problem‑solving skills.
