Job summary

Philips in Paris is seeking a Quality Engineer to partner with software teams from design through release, focusing on design controls, risk management and regulatory compliance. You will contribute to AI-enabled cardiac monitoring initiatives and ensure evidence-based decision making.

You will review documentation, work with international teams, and grow expertise in regulated software, patient safety and AI risk.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in software/quality fields.
• 2+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance or a regulated engineering environment.
• Strong AI understanding and ability to challenge development teams.
• Professional English; French proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with software engineering teams from earliest design stages to review requirements and drive risk management.
• Support a global portfolio split between Paris Cardiologs products and AI-enabled cardiac monitoring projects.
• Review design documentation, test procedures, performance evidence, complaints, non-conformances and post-market information.
• Collaborate with regulatory, medical safety and cross-functional teams to identify gaps and drive corrective action.
• Build expertise in regulated software, patient safety and AI risk within Philips processes.
