Description du poste

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a compelling global social media strategy, strengthening the brand’s presence across all digital platforms.

You will lead social media initiatives in close collaboration with the Communication, Image, Marketing, E-commerce, and local market teams to design innovative campaigns and engaging content.

You will play a key role in shaping and affirming Maison Kitsuné’s visual and editorial identity, while ensuring strong performance, desirability, and community engagement on an international scale.

Reporting to the Head of Communication, you will also work directly with the Chief Brand Officer, Deputy General Manager, and Co-founder Gildas Loaëc to ensure full strategic alignment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the global content and social media strategy across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LINE, WeChat, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.), in line with Maison Kitsuné’s DNA and artistic direction.
  • Adapt this strategy locally in collaboration with key markets, particularly Japan and China, adjusting the editorial tone to each platform.
  • Oversee the international editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand milestones.
  • Lead creative thinking and the development of social content, providing both strategic and creative input at every stage.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital content, working closely with the Image team to validate native and engaging formats.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Manager to identify and activate influencers, creators, and cultural profiles aligned with the brand’s positioning.
  • Analyze performance across platforms, produce weekly and monthly reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Develop presentations, briefs, and operational tools such as seasonal guidelines, benchmarks, dashboards, and campaign reviews.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in using native tools, monitoring digital and social trends, identifying talents, collaborating with agencies, managing creative communities, and leveraging insights.
  • Structure and optimise internal processes: planning, cross‑functional coordination, validation flow, recurring meetings, templates, and workflows.
  • Supervise digital partner agencies, ensuring their performance and alignment with the brand’s creative ambitions.
  • Manage social media tools (e.g., Miro, Canva, Iconosquare, etc.) and ensure the team is well‑trained and up to date.
  • Maintain constant awareness of cultural trends, new formats, emerging platforms, and influential talents.
  • Supervise an intern, providing daily guidance and supporting their skills development.
  • Work cross‑functionally with the Image, Communication, Marketing, Digital, and VM teams, as well as strategic partners in China, Japan, and franchise territories.
  • Demonstrate agility, responsiveness, and cultural sensitivity, thriving in a creative, demanding, and ever‑evolving environment.
Qualifications
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in social media within the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle industry.
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumers and digital trends.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and external partners.
  • Excellent storytelling, content curation, and editorial writing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools.
  • Passion for fashion, creativity, and innovation in digital marketing.
  • Experience in coordinating editorial and creative projects with an international scope.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
