A fast-growing HR consulting company in Nouvelle-Aquitaine is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma, hands-on experience, and must be detail-oriented. French language skills are required for this role, which involves outdoor work and may require travel for service visits.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or similar.
• Responsible and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines and electrical systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment, especially for excavators.
• Replace components such as filters, hydraulic hoses, pumps, and mechanical parts.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to company standards.
• Ensure accurate reporting of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work environment in proper condition.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with site regulations.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• French language required; English is a plus.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor or on-site environments.
• Willingness to travel for service visits when needed.
