Service Technician - On-site at a Leading Pharmaceutical Client (Paris, France)

Are you a hands‑on technical professional with a passion for laboratory instrumentation and delivering exceptional service?

We are seeking a Service Technician to join a specialized team providing critical maintenance, qualification, and technical support services for cutting‑edge laboratory equipment at one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies in Paris.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring laboratory instruments perform at their best, through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification processes. You will play a key role in supporting scientific operations by maintaining instrument reliability and compliance, helping our client drive innovation in pharmaceutical research and production.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of laboratory instruments, in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Carry out instrument qualification, adapting procedures to meet customer needs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot multi‑brand instruments, ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues.
  • Plan and prioritize your activities, providing clear visibility of your schedule to your team and client contacts.
  • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
  • Document every intervention meticulously to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
  • Write and update maintenance and qualification protocols as required.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all interventions comply with QHSE and quality protocols.
  • Organize your schedule and travel to meet operational priorities.
  • Communicate regularly with the client to provide updates and maintain strong relationships.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to expand expertise on laboratory instruments.
What We're Looking For:
  • Diploma or Level Bac+2 to Bac+5 in Science (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Chemistry/Biology, Physics) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in a laboratory environment with technical equipment such as HPLC/GC, centrifuges, dissolution systems, temperature & humidity measurement devices.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a client‑focused mindset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and precision in work.
  • Fluent in French and professional English (spoken, read, written).
  • Comfortable with MS Office Suite (intermediate level).
