About the role

At Cozycozy, we’re building the world’s best accommodation metasearch platform making travel simple, transparent, and inspiring. Cozycozy is seeking a SEO Content Optimization Specialist to join our team in Budapest. In this crucial role, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital marketing strategy bridging the gap between mass accommodation data, travel content and user intent. Your primary goal will be to supervise the content creation to position cozycozy as a trusted and authoritative source for touristic accommodation and travel information.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with our SEO Strategist, SEO Project Manager, content writers, and the broader marketing and product teams in both Budapest and Paris to ensure our content resonates with users, meets cutting-edge SEO best practices, and fuels growth across our 50+ international markets and sub-brands. The position is an on-site role based in our office in Budapest.

What You’ll Do

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Partner with the SEO Strategist to develop and continually refine comprehensive content strategies that align with SEO and GEO goals, user intent, and cozycozy’s brand voice across all 50+ markets and thematic sites.
• Oversee the end-to-end production of high-quality, SEO- and GEO-optimized content, including articles, guides, FAQs, accommodation descriptions, meta content, landing page copy, and other formats. You’ll actively integrate and leverage AI tools for content ideation, generation, optimization, and scaling, managing content calendars, briefing writers, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct keyword and topic research and translate them into clear, actionable content briefs for a team of content writers. You’ll explore and utilize AI-powered tools to enhance topic discovery, outline generation, and content brief creation, ensuring every piece is designed to rank and serve user needs.
• Oversee the optimization of existing and new content for SEO and GEO performance, including on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headings), internal linking, readability, and user engagement.
• Coordinate content localization and transcreation efforts for our international markets, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy while maintaining SEO integrity.
• Monitor content performance using SEO and GEO analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush). You’ll provide regular reports on content impact, identifying areas for improvement and recommending data-backed adjustments.
• Implement and maintain rigorous content quality standards, ensuring all published content is accurate, engaging, error-free, and aligns with cozycozy’s brand guidelines, even with the integration of AI tools.

About you

• You have 3+ years of experience in content management or content marketing, with a strong focus on SEO-driven content strategy and production.
• You have a deep understanding of how content contributes to SEO performance, including on-page optimization, content gaps analysis, intent matching, and content clusters.
• You have a passionate and practical understanding of how AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Jasper, SurferSEO, Clearscope) can be leveraged for content ideation, creation, optimization, and scaling. You’re excited to experiment and integrate these technologies into daily workflows.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple content streams and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different teams and locations (Budapest & Paris).

Bonus Points if you have:

• Experience in the travel, e-commerce, or marketplace industry with large, multi-market websites.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO-focused content optimization platforms.
• A portfolio showcasing successful SEO content strategies and their measurable impact.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to cozycozy’s markets.
