A leading firm in sensory research in Paris is seeking a candidate to supervise sensory panels, manage panellists, and conduct sessions while ensuring project adherence to strategic guidelines. Candidates should have a university degree in relevant fields and excellent communication skills in French. Experience in project management will be advantageous, and proficiency in MS Office is required.

Qualifications

  • University degree, ideally in food science or related fields.
  • Experience in project management and running a sensory panel desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in French; English is a plus.

Responsabilités

  • Supervise and lead sensory panels.
  • Recruit, train, manage and motivate sensory panellists.
  • Conduct sessions and assist with statistical analysis.
  • Prepare tests and write reports for clients.

Connaissances

Excellent written and oral communication skills in French
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organisational and planning skills
Project management experience

Formation

University degree in food science, social sciences, psychology, statistics or economics

Responsibilities

1. Panel Work

a. Supervise and lead our sensory panels

b. Recruit, train, manage and motivate sensory panellists

c. Preparation of tests (organisation of sessions, samples, preparation of test questionnaires)

d. Conduct sessions (descriptive profiling, temporal assessment and discrimination testing)

e. In direct contact with clients to organize the panels and debrief over sessions

f. Assist with statistical analysis and data visualisation

g. Support with writing reports for the client

h. Follow-up and control of panelists’ performance

i. Participation in the quality assurance process

People

a. Work closely with other members of our sensory and research team and the Data Solutions Hub

Strategy

Ensuring that ongoing activities and projects adhere to the company's strategic guidelines

Qualifications
  • University degree, ideally in food science, social sciences, psychology, statistics or economics
  • Experience in project management and / or running a sensory panel would be desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French. English is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Rigorous, responsive and proactive
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines
