Coreteam is seeking a Senior Workday HCM Architect/Lead for a 12-month contract in Paris. The role requires French language skills and three days on-site per week with a flexible 4-day week option.

You will lead the Workday HCM functional workstream, drive discovery sessions, and translate business requirements into scalable Workday designs. The ideal candidate has extensive Workday leadership experience and can mentor teams while engaging senior stakeholders in a large international environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Workday HCM programmes or large transformations.
• Proven ability to act as Workday Architect, Functional Lead, or Programme Lead.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience mentoring Workday functional teams and guiding design decisions.

Senior Workday HCM Architect / Lead (French Speaking)

12-Month Contract | Paris, France | 3 Days On-Site | 4-Day Week Available

The Opportunity:

Lead the design, direction, and evolution of a major Workday HCM programme where your expertise will shape how the business leverages Workday for years to come.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Workday HCM Architect / Lead who combines deep functional expertise with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. You'll be the trusted advisor driving Workday strategy, leading workshops, facilitating design sessions, guiding teams, and ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable and effective Workday solutions.

Please note: Professional French language skills are essential, and candidates must be able to work three days per week on-site in Paris.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Workday HCM functional workstream across the programme.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution design workshops with business stakeholders.
• Own the end-to-end functional architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday solutions and best-practice designs.
• Lead and mentor functional consultants, providing direction and oversight across deliverables.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Lead design authority discussions and provide guidance on Workday capabilities, limitations, and optimisation opportunities.
• Oversee configuration strategy, business processes, security, reporting, and functional design decisions.
• Support testing, deployment, change management, and release activities.
• Ensure high-quality delivery across all functional workstreams while proactively managing risks and dependencies.

About You:

• Extensive experience leading Workday HCM programmes, implementations, or large transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience acting as a Workday Architect, Functional Lead, or Programme Lead.
• Strong expertise across Core HCM and broader Workday functionality.
• Demonstrated experience leading workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design activities.
• Experience managing and mentoring Workday functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and solution architecture.
• Comfortable owning complex functional decisions and driving programme outcomes.
• Professional French language skills are essential.
• Must be able to work 3 days per week on-site in Paris.
• Initial 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
• Expected programme duration of up to 24 months.
• 4-day working week available, with the flexibility to move to 5 days if required.
