Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Agentic Search) - Web Access Engineer based in France. You will build the web access infrastructure powering agentic search and AI systems, investigating how websites interact with browsers and turning insights into production technologies.

This role blends browser internals, web protocols, automation, instrumentation, and distributed infrastructure at internet scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, infra, or distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in browser technologies, Chromium, and browser internals.
• Experience with CDP and browser automation tools (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium).
• Solid knowledge of HTTP/1.1-3, TLS, DNS, cookies, storage, caching, redirects, and session management.
• Understanding of resource loading, page lifecycle, browser networking, and fingerprinting concepts.
• Ability to investigate complex technical behavior and translate findings into production systems.
• Willingness to participate in coding interviews as part of the hiring process.

Responsabilités

• Research and analyze how modern websites communicate with browsers throughout the request and navigation lifecycle.
• Investigate browser fingerprinting and client verification mechanisms to improve access to web content.
• Build browser infrastructure and tooling for instrumentation, debugging, observability, and performance analysis.
• Develop systems translating browser insights into production infrastructure at internet scale.
• Analyze browser behavior and client-side technologies to identify engineering solutions.
• Contribute to multi-region, bursty workloads with scalable caching and routing.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives within a small team.
