Sanofi seeks a Senior Distinguished Scientist to lead the Transgenic Model & Technology function globally. You will drive innovation in genome engineering, manage in vivo model development, and guide cross-divisional preclinical strategies using AI and digital platforms to accelerate drug discovery.

Based in France with hybrid work options, you will mentor a high-performing team, oversee budgets, and build collaborations with CROs and academic partners across multiple therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Extensive post-doctoral or industry experience in mouse molecular genetics and transgenic models.
• Proven leadership in academic or pharma/biotech research environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead genome engineering strategies for in vivo model development across therapeutic areas.
• Identify and implement new transgenesis technologies and platforms.
• Champion AI and digital integration to enhance model design and data analysis.
• Advise on in vivo and preclinical study design and align capabilities with strategic goals.
• Manage cross-functional teams across sites, budgets, and external partners.
• Foster scientific excellence and mentor high-performing teams.
