Allegro MicroSystems seeks a TMR Transducer Design Engineer in Grenoble to design, simulate, and optimize TMR transducers for magnetic sensor products. You will work with design, system, and layout engineers to derive specs and validate performance using simulations and data analysis.

The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in physics or related field (or Master’s with 2+ years) and strong magnetism knowledge, with experience in MATLAB or Python.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s with relevant field in physics/engineering.
• Solid background in magnetism and spin electronics.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication and magnetic thin films.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop TMR transducers and their layout.
• Run simulations and analyze data to match high-level specs.
• Ensure design tasks follow procedures for performance and cost.
• Support integration of TMR tech from R&D to production.
• Analyze transducer limitations and provide data-driven feedback.
• Maintain project timelines and provide updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams on magnetism topics.
