Netcompany is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to shape testing strategy, write scenarios, and drive quality across product releases. You will collaborate with Test Engineers to plan and execute tests, automate where possible, and assess overall product quality.

The ideal candidate holds a CS/IT degree with 7+ years of experience, excels in English, and has strong API testing skills (Postman/Kreya), SQL, and containerized environments, in an international, multicultural setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Excellent knowledge of software testing standards, methodologies, test planning, test scenario design, test case creation, and execution.
Proficiency in API testing using Postman, Kreya, or similar tools, as well as automated testing and system integration testing.
Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, containerized environments, observability tools, and complex enterprise system integration.
Solid understanding of Defect Management, including defect prioritization, root cause analysis, and the use of test and defect management tools.
Ability to understand business requirements, define testing priorities, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile software development and testing methodologies, with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

Responsabilités

Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios.
Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools.
Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases.
Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome.
Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach.
Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.
