Arbalett in Strasbourg is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a long-term freelance contract, 100% on-site. You will lead testing activities across the full quality lifecycle in an agile, international environment, shaping test strategies and automation.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in test planning, execution and automation, with API testing (Postman, Kreya) and Docker/Kubernetes. Fluency in English (B2) and ability to collaborate with multi-vendor teams is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Test Engineer with proven expertise in test planning, execution, and automation.
Strong knowledge of testing standards, defect management tools, and agile methodologies.
Experience in API testing (Postman, Kreya, or equivalent) and complex integration testing.
Good command of databases and SQL, containerised solutions (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability tools.

Responsabilités

Define test strategies and tailor scopes for each product/release, collaborating with Test Engineers.
Plan and oversee all testing activities and coordinate environments and tools with stakeholders.
Prepare test scenarios, cases, and data, including test case automation.
Evaluate deliverables by documenting results and communicating quality levels clearly.
Design and maintain automated tests using established automation frameworks.
continually assess and improve product quality through requirements review and test approach enhancements.
Leverage test analysis and automation to ensure coverage and fast execution.
