M2 Group, a land planning and civil engineering firm, seeks a Senior Survey CAD Technician to lead CAD production, support survey operations, and mentor the team. You will ensure high-quality deliverables, maintain CAD standards, and collaborate with field crews and licensed surveyors.

The role requires expert AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, 7+ years in survey drafting, and a strong understanding of boundary descriptions and surveys. On-site work and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in survey drafting or geomatics.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey calculations.
• Experience preparing complex survey deliverables independently.
• Strong understanding of boundary surveying principles and records.
• Mentoring junior technical staff and supporting CAD workflows.

Responsabilités

• Lead preparation of complex survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D from field data and calculations.
• Develop boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision and construction survey plans.
• Process field data from GPS, total stations, LiDAR, and other survey equipment.
• Coordinate drafting priorities with Project Managers and Survey Leadership.
• Mentor and train junior CAD technicians and support staff.
• Maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows and ensure QA/QC.
