INDEFI in Paris is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to work on international projects, mainly involving strategic due diligences. You will gradually take ownership of client relationships and contribute to business development with Managers and Partners.

You will execute projects with data analysis, market research, and interviews with senior decision-makers, while developing sector expertise and coaching junior consultants.

Qualifications

• Degree from a leading business school, engineering school, or university.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity.
• Full professional fluency in both French and English; additional European languages are a plus.

Indefi is a fast-growing strategy consulting firm that serves financial investors (private equity specialists, generalist asset managers, wealth managers, etc.). Established in 2007, we are a team of 80+ consultants headquartered in Paris, Lyon and Madrid.

We are operating through three business units:

• Sustainability: We help our clients define and deliver their Responsible Investment strategy and operating model. We work across the value chain to support investors and portfolio companies to define and embed their chosen approach to ESG and sustainability impact
• Private Equity: We help private equity firms make better investment decisions at every stage of the deal life cycle and build greater returns. We also advise on investment firm strategy and development, creating value through improved performance.
• Corporate strategy: conducting strategic development projects for global asset managers including business strategy, market entry, distribution strategy, new product development, non-organic growth and investment process enhancement

As part of our continued development, we are looking for Senior Strategy Consultants - Private Equity to join our Paris office.

Mission

You will contribute to a variety of international projects covering a broad range of strategic topics, primarily strategic due diligences. You will progressively take ownership of client relationships and have the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives alongside Managers and Partners.

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Executing projects involving data analysis, market research, and interviews with senior decision-makers;
• Analysing and interpreting research findings and translating them into clear, actionable strategic recommendations;
• Developing expertise in selected sectors, including healthcare, consumer products and retail, B2B services, education, and transport;
• Supporting senior executives in the formulation and delivery of strategic recommendations;
• Coaching and supporting junior consultants by sharing best practices, providing guidance, and contributing to team knowledge-sharing initiatives through regular internal meetings;
• Participating in internal projects aligned with your interests and aspirations, including skills-based volunteering initiatives in partnership with non-profit organisations;
• Contributing to the firm's development by taking part in recruitment activities and supporting business development efforts and proposal preparation.

Your profile

We are looking for outstanding individuals combining intellectual rigor, analytical excellence, and strong business judgement.

Successful candidates typically have:

• A degree from a leading business school, engineering school, or university;
• 3 to 6 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and strong Excel skills;
• A solid understanding of Private Equity and investment-related topics;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Full professional fluency in both French and English;
• Additional European languages are a plus.
