INDEFI is seeking postgraduate students or recent graduates to join as Junior Strategy Consultants – Private Equity in Lyon. You will work under a senior consultant on international projects across market analysis, strategic reviews, and business planning, with exposure to asset management and PE clients in France and Europe.

The role emphasizes data collection, interviews, and delivering strategic recommendations, with opportunities to participate in internal projects and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a top business or engineering school.
• Work experience in strategy consulting, or strategy/M&A divisions of international groups.
• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and good knowledge of Excel.
• Full fluency in French and English; other European languages are a plus.

• Private Equity: We help private equity firms make better investment decisions at every stage of the deal life cycle and build greater returns. We also advise on investment firm strategy and development, creating value through improved performance.
• Corporate Strategy: We conduct strategic development projects for global asset managers, including business strategy, market entry, distribution strategy, new product development, non‑organic growth, and investment process enhancement.

As part of our local and international development, we are looking for postgraduate students or recent graduates from top‑tier business and engineering schools/universities to join us as Junior Strategy Consultants – Private Equity for our Lyon office.

Mission

Driven by a senior consultant or manager, you’ll take part in several international projects covering a wide range of challenging topics: market and competitive analysis, strategic reviews, business planning, strategic and sustainability due diligences, business development strategies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and analysis
• Field research and interviews with market experts
• Support in delivering strategic recommendations at the senior executive level
• Attending meetings with clients and partners, in contact with the main players in Asset Management and Private Equity in France and Europe
• With seniority, you’ll be invited to participate in internal projects depending on your aspirations.

Your Profile

• Graduated from a top business or engineering school
• Work experience at strategy consulting firms, strategy divisions, or M&A departments of international groups, investment banks, asset management, or private equity firms
• Strong skills and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Private Equity topics
• Full fluency in French and English is mandatory
• A good working knowledge of other European languages would be a plus
