Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Principal Statistician – Early Phase based in France. You will provide strategic statistical leadership across early-phase trials, from protocol development through CSR, collaborating with sponsors, clinical teams, programmers, and regulatory stakeholders in a fully remote European setting.

This senior role includes mentoring biostatisticians, guiding study designs, SAPs, and regulatory submissions, while strengthening statistical methodologies

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Biostatistics or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Extensive experience in clinical trials and biostatistics with leadership of multiple projects.
• Proven program- or project-level leadership experience in clinical development strategy and statistical decision-making.
• Strong proficiency in R programming.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulatory submissions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with sponsors, teams, and stakeholders in an international environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work remotely from eligible European locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical activities across early-phase clinical trials from protocol development to CSR.
• Develop and oversee SAPs with mock-up tables, listings, and figures.
• Serve as Lead Biostatistician on assigned projects and influence development decisions.
• Provide statistical expertise to support development strategies and regulatory expectations.
• Create and review programming specifications for analysis datasets and outputs.
• Review CRFs and database designs to ensure proper capture of protocol requirements.
• Conduct quality control and verification of deliverables.
• Lead multiple projects and coordinating activities to meet timelines.
• Communicate statistical concepts effectively to sponsors and cross-functional teams.
• Support regulatory interactions and DSMB/DMC activities as appropriate.
• Mentor biostatisticians and develop training materials.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and adherence to ICH guidelines.
